Account & Settings

Manage your Good Gallery account and general website settings.

Typography

Typography is the visual component of the written word. Good typography helps make text legible, readable, and appealing. The typeface is managed by changing font size, letter spacing, font color, capitalization, and other attributes.

System Fonts

System fonts are typefaces pre-installed on computers and mobile devices. Using system fonts can improve page load times since no additional font files need to be downloaded.

Google Fonts

Google Fonts is a library of free, open-source fonts. Good Gallery supports Google Fonts, giving you access to hundreds of typefaces for your website.

To preview available typefaces, use the Typeface Previews tool.

Font Size

Choose font sizes that are easy to read on both desktop and mobile devices. The recommended minimum font size for body text is 16px.

Readability

Good readability is essential for visitor engagement. Consider these factors:

  • Line height — Adequate spacing between lines improves readability
  • Line length — Lines that are too long or too short can be difficult to read
  • Contrast — Ensure sufficient contrast between text and background colors
  • Font choice — Choose typefaces designed for screen reading

Typefaces are protected by copyright law. Only use typefaces that you have the right to use. System fonts and Google Fonts are free to use on websites.

Email

Email settings are managed through your domain registrar, not through Good Gallery. Good Gallery provides website hosting but does not provide email hosting services.

See the Going Live section for information about MX records and email configuration.

Administrative Users

Good Gallery accounts support a single administrator account. If you need to provide access to other people, you must share your username and password.

See the Usernames & Passwords section for more information.

Good Gallery websites operate within a managed environment. Third-party software, scripts, and applications may not be compatible with the Good Gallery platform.

Before adding third-party code to your website, test it thoroughly. If third-party code causes issues, remove it and contact the third-party provider for assistance.

Note: Good Gallery support cannot troubleshoot issues caused by third-party software.
