Configure YouTube and Vimeo player settings for Video Pages on your Good Gallery website.

Video Pages

Video Pages display full-screen YouTube, Vimeo, or MediaZilla content. The Video URL option indicates the path to the video to be displayed on the page.

Warning: Good Gallery only supports video stored on YouTube, Vimeo, or MediaZilla. Locally uploaded video is not supported. Other video streaming services may not function as expected.


YouTube Settings

These settings are activated automatically when a YouTube URL is provided.

Autoplay

The Autoplay option indicates if the video should begin playing immediately, as soon as the visitor accesses the page.

Note: Usability experts believe that autoplay functionality negatively affects visitor experiences. Most autoplay features are now restricted on modern browsers and devices.

Modest Branding

The Modest Branding option indicates if the YouTube logo should be displayed. When set to yes, a YouTube text label will still appear in the upper-right corner of a paused video.

Controls

The Controls option indicates whether the video player controls should be displayed.

Loop

The Loop option indicates if the video should be replayed automatically when the end of the video is reached.

The Related Videos option indicates if related videos should be shown from across YouTube. Choose no to only show videos from the same channel.


Vimeo Settings

These settings are activated automatically when a Vimeo URL is provided.
