Update 3XX Redirects

The Update 3XX Redirects tool helps you identify and fix redirect chains on your website. Redirect chains occur when a URL redirects to another URL that also redirects, creating a chain of redirects.

Redirect chains can slow down page load times and dilute the SEO value passed through redirects.

Scan All Content

The Scan All Content feature examines all links across your website to identify URLs that return 3XX redirect status codes.

Follow these steps to scan for redirect chains:

1. Sign In to your Good Gallery administrator account.
2. Hover your cursor over the Tools menu.
3. Choose Update 3XX Redirects.
4. Click the Scan All Content button.
5. Wait for the scan to complete.

The scan results display all URLs that return 3XX status codes, including the original URL and the final destination URL.

Fix 3XX Redirects

After scanning, you can automatically update all links to point directly to their final destinations, eliminating redirect chains.

Follow these steps to fix redirect chains:

1. Complete the scan as described above.
2. Review the scan results.
3. Click the Fix 3XX Redirects button.

Note: This tool updates links within your website content. It does not modify 301 Redirects configured in your Site Options settings. See the 301 Redirects section for more information about managing redirects.
